Is the first Cars film to not release the same year as a film in Warner Brothers' Happy Feet film franchise, of which Cars (2006) was released the same year as Happy Feet (2006), and Cars 2 (2011) released the same year as Happy Feet Two (2011). See more »
During any of the races, there is apparently absolutely no mention of Lightning McQueen's performance in his Tokyo, Porto Corsa, and London races - as depicted in Cars 2 (2011). See more »
I was quite excited for this film. This film had a lot of expectations to live up to so the pressure was kind of high for the makers. But honestly, I think they nailed it. *SPOILER*
I really love how this movie links to Cars 1 (in contrast to Cars 2). Cars 1 was probably my youth (now I'm 14) so I really loved that!
The story is great. The older ones (McQueen and his friends) are getting blown away by new racers, so he has to make a comeback, yes. And that's where everybody gets to hate McQueen. I think the decision of McQueen becoming coach was a great idea. Well, actually he said he continued racing or I took that the wrong way, but anyway, it's good to encourage hard decision you have to make. That's what this movie was all about in my perspective.
I loved this and I was completely blown away by the final scenes but it was amazing! All the memories!
