Trivia

Parts of the old house that sits above Pennywise's lair closely resemble the second version of the Myers house as seen in Halloween 5 (1989). It also happens that both the fourth, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) and fifth installment of the Halloween franchise were released in 1988 and 1989, the two specific years used for this version of the story-line. Goofs

When Beverley takes her dad's measuring tape to explore her bathroom sink's drain, she drops the tape in the sink when she is being wrapped up by the gunk shooting from the drain. After the blood explodes from the drain and coats the bathroom, there is a shot of the the bloody sink but the tape is not there. The shot is at a bit of an angle, but the tape should definitely be visible in the sink as shown. See more »

Quotes

Eddie Kaspbrak: I think it's great we're helping the new kid, but we also need to think of our own safety. I mean, he's bleeding all over and you guys know that there's an AIDS epidemic out there right now, as we speak, right? I mean, my mom's friend in New York City got it just by touching a dirty pole in the subway and enough of AIDS blood got into his system from a hangnail. A hangnail!

This could be one of the all time greatest failures
9 September 2017 | by See all my reviews

There is no possible way that anyone could seriously rate this movie even close to the scores on this site.

This movie is the first movie I have walked out of in 10 years. I am a huge fan of this genre and this to me was the ultimate disappointment. I actually cringed at a lot of the "horror scenes", very very lame.

At 45 minutes in I had to check my ticket to see how much longer I would have to endure the pain. After realising how much longer I had to go, a swift exit took place.

I hope you read this review before wasting your time and money.
