This Is Us star Jon Huertas is making it his mission to end homelessness.

The actor, who plays Miguel on NBC’s hit sophomore drama, has been a passionate supporter of the cause, due in part to his own personal experience. Though Huertas has been a successful working actor for the past two decades, he pointed to a trying time in his past when he found himself living without a roof over his head.

“I, at one point, for about two weeks, was in my truck with two dogs and all my stuff in the back of my pickup truck covered in a tarp. I didn’t have a roof and I didn’t know how soon I was going to get one and all it took was me reaching out to people I know who care to get me into a different situation. That’s kind of what we have to do as a society, as a community »

Gabby Douglas Apologizes After Simone Biles Reacts to Her Telling Aly Raisman Women Should 'Dress Modestly'

Gabby Douglas is taking back her controversial comments she made on social media on Friday.

The 21-year-old gymnast issued an apology after Simone Biles called her out for telling their former USA Olympic Gymnastics competitor Aly Raisman that it's a woman's "responsibility" to "dress modestly" after Raisman spoke out about women being victim-shamed.

"Just because a woman does a sexy photoshoot or wears a sexy outfit does not give a man the right to shame her or not believe her when she comes forward about sexual abuse,” Raisman wrote in her post. "What is wrong with some of you? And when a woman dresses sexy it does not give a man the right to sexually abuse her Ever."

Douglas replied to Raisman, saying in a now-deleted tweet, "However it is our responsibility as women to dress modestly and be classy. Dressing in a provocative/sexual way entices the wrong crowd."

"But life wasn’t crappy to the person I called 'Girlfriend' and who called me 'Boyfriend' - Paula Haynes. Miss Paula Haynes, I also called her. Glenn Close Emotionally Declares If Christopher Reeve Was Alive, Robin Williams 'Would Be Too'

Glenn Close says that Christopher Reeve and Robin Williams' friendship was so strong that she believes if the Superman star was still alive, he could have saved Williams.

The 70-year-old actress got emotional while delivering a touching speech at the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation's annual "A Magical Evening" Gala in New York City on Thursday, where she reflected on the late actors and her friendship with them both.

"My first connection to Christopher Reeve was through Robin Williams, when we were shooting The World According to Garp. It was the summer of 1982, when we were filming on Fishers Island," Close began. On Sunday, late afternoon, Chris would swoop back in and deliver Robin back -- I have to say a little worse for wear."

"There's a plug for the songs," Richie laughs.

Ben Barnes on 'The Punisher,' Finally Joining the Marvel Universe and Not Glorifying Gun Violence (Exclusive)

"What is a Ragnarok?" Ben Barnes suddenly considers. "I don't know what a Ragnarok is."

We're discussing the amusing happenstance of his new series, The Punisher, arriving on Netflix at the same time Thor: Ragnarok is the No. 1 movie in theaters, two corners of the Marvel universe that could not be more different. The former is a gritty melodrama that follows Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle, a one-time Army man-turned-revenge-seeking antihero; the latter is a groovy space opera full of idiosyncratic punchlines and talking rock monsters. Ragnarok, I tell him, refers to the "End of Everything," the total annihilation of Asgard at the hands of the Goddess of Death and a giant fire demon. "Well," Barnes says. "That sounds quite scary."

Perhaps Marvel's latest offerings do share bit in common, but you won't find any cosmic Vikings or green, rage monsters on The Punisher. "We're not dealing with everything that goes along with having characters with superpowers »
